How to Measure Your Yard for a Fence

1. Mark corners with a stake. The corners are where panels meet at a 90-degree angle.
2. Measure the perimeter of the area in feet. Use the stakes as a guide.
3. Add how many gates you need and subtract it from the total perimeter. (Each of our gates are 5 feet wide by 6 feet height)
4. Divide the perimeter by the size of the fence panels you plan to buy. Our typical panel sizes are 8 feet wide by 6 feet height.
